i used to have loads of indians and pimburas myself and my ex partner bought them back from belgium and sold about 40 of them. i have always found the temperaments of indians and pimburas a little unpredictable so the hissing is something you'll need to get used to and i'd arm myself with a snake hook for getting them out to handle them. it seems that no matter how tame you get them you can never quite trust them. as for chipping them i would suggest you do, coz it's very lucrative for someone if they were of a mind to steal them. they are very sought after and not many in the country. we managed to secure a large adult female and my partner took her with him when we split up but she was a nasty peice of work so i was happy with that. i hope she chokes him .lolololol. do get them chipped it will save you a world of pain.
